Speech therapy for children and adults with speech, language, auditory perception deficiencies. Also therapy for communication difficulties after stroke or brain damage.

Speech therapy: Assessments and therapy offered for children and adults with speech, language, voice, swallowing and auditory processing difficulties. Assist children who have language difficulties due to exposure to two or more Languages. Audiology services: Conduct hearing tests for children and adults. Fit hearing aids. Supply swim plugs. Industrial audiology services, CAPD tests conducted, aural rehabilitation for children with hearing aids and cochlear implants. ** Special interests: Managing feeding and communication challenges in children with Neuro-developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, visual impairments, autism, non-verbal clients who need AAC, cleft lip and palate, auditory processing assessments. Adult neurology such as stroke, TBI, degenerative disorders, voice therapy with patients post thyroidectomy. Postgraduate training: Dysphagia trained (Children + adults) . Bobath NDT trained. Makaton trained. Introductory DIR-Floor time, RAVE-O trained. Attend updates

Lynnmed is a 21-bed medically complex rehabilitation focused on sub-acute rehabilitation healthcare services including orthopedic, neurological, medically complex, and ventilated patients. Hospital (also known as Step Down Clinics), with 6 Frail Care beds. The facility is registered with the BHF (Board of Healthcare Funders of Southern Africa - the organization concerned with issuing practice numbers) and is inspected annually by the Gauteng Department of Health. Our practice number enables us to gain authorization for admission from your medical aid, resulting in payment by the medical aid. As a small facility, we provide personal nursing care, through our multi-disciplinary team with a sharp focus on medically complex care and rehabilitation.
