Riverbend Chalets & Campsite is situated in Umtentweni, Lower South Coast, KwaZulu-Natal, right in the middle of this popular tourist destination. We are about 1-11 / 2hours drive south of Durban. Riverbend is on the Mtentweni River, about 2km up river from the ocean. It is set amid hilly indigenous bush and forest that makes for abundant bird & small wildlife . You can paddle to the sea in one of our available for hire canadian style canoes, when the river is up. We cater for holidaymakers and travellers who are looking for accommodation in central but tranquil surroundings. There is a choice of Self-catering accommodation. Three delightful & spacious wooden houses & a 2 bedroom cottage, or our secluded riverside campsite. All the self-catering units are free standing and pet friendly. The campsite however is unfortunately not pet friendly. Riverbend is close to all amenities including a Quick Spar, 2km distance. There are many resaurants and pubs in the vacinity...
