The contribution of older persons is recognized. 2. Older persons can experience safety and security. 3. The rights and dignity of older persons are respected. 4. Older persons have a role to play in development. The mission of the Wcopf is to identify and articulate the needs of the older person as voiced by them, and in consultation with government and other role-players, ensure that those needs are met.
