We picked this place because it was sunday and a lot of places were closed. The burger was ok... I would not recommend smoked chicken salad.

The Africa Café
Cape Town, South Africa
The Africa Cafe is a family run restaurant started by the de Smidt and Mbau families in 1992. Chef Portia was inspired, by her travels, to bring the best of Africa's many national dishes together under one roof and highlight the abundance of fresh, natural ingredients that South Africa has to offer. The set menu changes twice a year, in December and June, and although old favorites tend to stay on about half of the menu will be new each season. Seating is spread over 3 levels in dining rooms from large to intimate in size. The smallest seating 20 and the largest 60. The total capacity is 250. The ambience is colourful and artistic with rooms themed around regions, countries and tribes of Africa - Jungle to Safari; Zulu and Xhosa to Egyptian. Our cuisine focuses on fresh herbs and spices, as well as meat and seafood from the best local farmers & suppliers. Our Chef is also health conscious and can cater to gluten and lactose intolerances by prior arrangement.
