Assessing and treating children with developmental delays, learning difficulties, problems with gross and fine motor development as well as perceptual problems. Also assist with writing difficulties. Developmental Assessment & Therapy for younger children. Children 3 years of age to 12. Children older than 13 can be assisted with study methods.

Occupational Therapy practice with a passion for assisting those with disabilities and / or work-related difficulties to return to a productive and fulfilling work life. We offer Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and work assessments to determine an individual's physical, cognitive and psycho-emotional ability to work; and to make recommendations for any intervention and / or support that may assist an individual to return to work. Return-to-Work Rehabilitation or Vocational Rehabilitation aims to rehabilitate and improve an individual's physical, cognitive or emotional ability to work following illness / injury; and includes individual therapy sessions and home / work exercises. Kirsten Beukes Occupational Therapists offers return-to-work rehabilitation to Injury on Duty / Workmen's Compensation patients through the Workability Practice Network. We also offer these services to insurers, employers, companies or any employees who are having difficulty at work.

General Occupational Therapy Practice with special interest in children with learning difficulties and adults and children with psychiatric disorders, substance related disorders, emotional and behavioural disorders as well as motivational disorders.

Fields of Interest: Adult Physical Rehabilitation, Neuro and Hand Therapy. Qualifications: BSc (OT) Witwatersrand. I have an established private practice in Greenstone, Gauteng. My focus is on the assessment and rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity. After qualifying for a BSC (Hons) degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Witwatersrand, I worked at the Far East Rand Hospital for two years. Over that time, I established a Hand Therapy department within the hospital. I now work in private practice and treat orthopaedic, neurological and upper limb injuries. I am passionate about helping my patients to regain functional independence in all their activities of daily living.
