    Positive: Professional, Good Quality, Responsive.   

    Couldn't be happier with the service received from Dr Deon and his team. A very slick and professional surgery practice with very high ethics and morals. I could write an essay on how they held the space both practically and emotionally for me but there isn't enough time. My experience was successful start to finish and the expense which is on the higher side for traditional PS proceedures is 100% worth it.

    Negative: Not Professional, Not Responsive, Not Good Value.

    Shocking experience with this Dr and his staff. Never felt so violated in my life except when my drink got drugged 10 years ago. Lack of patient care. Personally insulting that I was single . Tried to groom me " in my opinion ". And went ballistic when I questioned his clause that he hope you sign that if he messes up surgery you will pay as the patient for the re -op. So much more I won't even begin to discuss. Steer clear if you don't have a husband backing you legally.

    Response from Dr Deon Van Der Westhuizen - Ms Plen approached my practice regarding an elective cosmetic procedure. Four different professionals participated in an assessment of her suitability, including competence to manage post-op requirements, and agreed that her expectations were unlikely to be met. This was explained to her on two occasions, leaving time to reflect. Mrs Plen attended 3 consultations (2 at no charge) over 14 days. The required collaboration could not be secured from her and she was not operated on. This decision was taken in her best interests. Mrs Plen did not accept this or take responsibility for her role. Her correspondence became personal, vindictive and nasty, causing distress. Legal help was required to make it stop. Her comments reflect anger at being refused treatment; they are without any substance, are defamatory, and are denied.
