CEPPWAWU - Chemical Energy Paper Printing Wood and Allied Workers Union, South African Workers union with members in industries ranging from Oil refineries, Explosives, Chemical, Pulp, Paper, Printing, Furniture, Saw Milling etc. CEPPWAWU is the majority union in all these industries in South Africa. It was formed through the merger of the Chemical Workers' Industrial Union (CWIU) and the Paper, Printing, Wood and Allied Workers' Union (PPWAWU) in 1999. CEPPWAWU is an affiliate of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) .
