This beach is usually very windy, but has really awesome distant views on Table mountain. I prefer Clifton and Camps Bay for the stuff to do in the area and less wind, but this is still good to see...

stunning beach not far from Cape town city center. its part of the hop on hop off wine tour stops so easy to get to. but for a longer visit i went back myself with some friends.

The most beautiful beach to view the whole of Table Mountain- very picturesque and breathtaking- you need to sit on the sand and really take it all in! The sand, sea, salty air and awe!

Want to know why? Look at the kilometers on end white beaches,the view of cape Town and table mountain and robben Island..... This is where tourist need to come. The views to die for.... It's a pity...

Has everything. Great beach, incredible view of Cape Town, beach restaurant for sundowners, easy access, great for families, friends or couples....love watching the dogs run and play freely.

This is a beach with steep sandy shore and rough waters - very cold waters - especially for May. Not a swimming beach but a good and safe walking beach. Bring a camera.

Plenty of parking with the most beautiful views across the water. Hardly surprising this is the view on many a picture postcard.
