Kidd's Beach is a small coastal resort town in the Eastern Cape, South Africa situated on the Mkhanzi River about 28 kilometer's from East London, South Africa. The name "Mkhanzi" is derived from the Xhosa word "umkhanzi", which means "bulrush", or Typha capensis. Established in 1911, Kidd's Beach Primary School has long been a home to critical thinking, progressive education, and a conscientious community. This government public school is a non-profit school while committed to pushing positive change and creating a caring world for everyone.

We are registered with Impaq No H8423 and we are a full-time home school from Grade RR to Grade 9. Our facilitators are fully qualified and we have, accumatively, 65 years of teaching experience. We offer, free of charge, environmental awareness, urban farming, robotics and coding, cooking and kitchen skills, money management. We hold a holiday club which are theme oriented and payable. We also follow the CAPS curriculum. Here is an aftercare facility and extra lessons, for which we offer light snacks and a drink in the afternoons, are also presented.
