Although we fall under the Dept of Education, we are a private school and do not receive any Government or private funding. The Edge Hotel School is a division of Edge Training that aims to provide opportunities to individuals looking to follow their culinary passion and gain experience in the hotel industry. We are SETA accredited and Level 1 B-BBEE. Hospitality training includes accredited learnerships, skills programmes, soft skills courses, barista training, online training and more.

NELRU is a non-profit, non- governmental teacher-training organisation, accredited with the Education, Training and Development Practices - Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP. SETA) . NELRU also acts as an upliftment and resource centre for the disadvantaged communities all over KwaZulu Natal. We work in under-privileged areas promoting pre-school education, upgrading crèches, putting in educational programmes, doing in-service training, running lecture courses, workshops etc. NELRU (previously the Urban Foundation Pre-School Division) has been active since 1979 and to date hundreds of thousands of children have benefited from our training courses and in-service training of teachers.
