Stocking everything HORSE, Western Shoppe caters for multiple equestrian types, disciplines, needs and budgets. The first Western Shoppe, opened in 1975 by Mannie and Darryl Gershow in rural Rivonia, had a distinct Western theme with wagon wheels at the front door and a comprehensive denim jean offering in-store. The business expanded over many years to cater for a broader and growing equestrian market, collecting a larger operating team and also welcomed a new partner in 2012. Deon Augustyn, also a passionate equestrian, brought years of corporate experience in operations, logistics and finance to lead and further fine tune Western Shoppe's operations.
