The Skylight Association of South Africa (SASA) is a trade Association which was founded in 1991 and whose membership comprises organisations engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of skylight systems. Whilst the activities of the Association cover a broad scope, it is realised with the ever increasing use of skylights in buildings in South Africa, that there is an urgent need to address the issue of standards so as to develop confidence in the quality, performance and reliability of skylights.
