Through the generous investments of donors and partners, Cotlands initiates and facilitates innovative, play-based early learning opportunities for young children. Children are provided access to toy library and playgroup programmes aimed at improving school readiness. The programmes are designed to ignite potential through play by enhancing children's social-emotional development, as well as their cognitive skills which includes creativity, critical thinking and problem solving. The goal is to ensure that children have the required skills to excel when entering formal schooling and to develop holistically for their future success.

Nazareth House is a non-profit, charitable organisation, which has served the communities in South Africa for over 130 years. The Sisters of Nazareth have opened their doors to the poorest of the poor in caring for the sick, destitute, aged and under privileged, orphaned children. Poverty-stricken communities often abandon or neglect children with special needs and the frail elderly who are dependent on the goodwill of others. Being ostracised by the community because of poverty, age and disability is not a rare occurrence. Many families disown or abuse their children because their disability is a burden on them or their medical status may be exposed and the family ridiculed because of it. Their conditions demand expert care, which low-income families cannot afford emotionally or financially. At Christine Revell Children's Home we provide full-time care for up to 49 babies and children from birth to five years of age who have been referred to us by social workers and placed here by order of a children's court. The children are either neglected, abandoned, abused, orphaned and are accepted at the home irrespective of HIV status, race or gender. We strive to create a warm, friendly and homely environment, but our ultimate aim is to re-unite a child with its parents or the extended family should circumstances permit. Children are also placed into foster care with suitable families in the communities and when the proper legal channels have been followed children can also be adopted. These decisions are always taken with the full involvement of our social worker, the social worker who referred the child to us, the family and children's courts.

James House provides four integrated programmes:, The Residential Programme: Highly specialised 24-hour care for up to eight teenage boys with extremely difficult-to-manage behaviour. The Isibindi Programme: A nationally accredited, community-based model of care for orphaned and vulnerable children and their families / caregivers. The Boys Quest Programme: A specialised, non-residential therapeutic support programme for teenage boys-at-risk and their families / caregivers. The Life Centre Programme: A structured youth development and life skills programme for unemployed youth.
