The South African Typographical Union was established in 1898 as a National trade Union and has served the Printing Newspaper and Packaging Industry for 120 years with distinction.

The PSA (Public Servants Association of South Africa) is a registered trade union at the forefront of labour developments. The PSA is the largest, politically non-affiliated, fully-representative union in the Public Service. With a proud history of decades of service to its members, the PSA represents more than 237 000 public sector employees.

The SAOU is a teachers' union, dedicated to the highest universal values and values of service delivery. We are a strong professional body with the power to negotiate salaries and conditions of service with the employer, and to represent members in grievances and disputes. Maintaining sound relations with the employer and other unions is also important to us. SAOU members are provided with, among others, valuable financial services.
