Welcome to AMA Casa self-catering cottages We would like to introduce you to our special part of the world. our cottages are situated in the Champagne Valley area of the Central Drakensberg mountains with spectacular panoramic views of the champagne and Cathkin peaks. Have you thought of moving your 'work from Home' office to a 'work from Holiday' Environment to enjoy to enjoy the splendour of the Drakensberg. The 6-SLEEPER unit, sunbird, has 3 fully Ensuite bedrooms, each with incredible mountain views. There is a jacuzzi on the large patio with built-in Brei. For that special romantic experience, your honeymoon, anniversary or special occasion, We also have 2 x 2-SLEEPER self-catering cottages, hoopoe and kingfisher, each with its own jacuzzi on the Brei patio and outdoor shower. All units have a fireplace and underfloor heating, making winter an ideal getaway time. Our mission is to provide you with exceptional accommodation, peace and privacy in a magnificent location.

Winterton Country Lodge is a perfect breakaway or stopover on your way to the coast. Indulge yourself in this cosy, quaint and romantic accommodation, between huge trees, abundant birdlife where peace and tranquillity enfolds you! Close to berg resorts for hiking, horse-riding, golfing, arts and crafts, restaurants and coffee shops. The well-known Drakensberg Boys Choir and Spionkop Game Reserve are located close by. Enjoy this special "world Heritage Site" in our beautiful Central Drakensberg! Delicious farm breakfasts and dinner on request to be enjoyed in our charming dining room with a sizzling fire in winter or on the thatched patio overlooking the majestic Drakensberg. Fly-fishing and canoeing in the dam, cool down in the pool or just relax in the lovely garden. Brei Facilities, fridge, fan, heater, coffee and tea making facilities and DStv are available in all the rooms and in the lounge, cosy Pub!

Self catering Accommodation

We are not self catering but We do have a restaurant available We have rooms that sleep 2 or to 10 people. All rooms come with linen and towels and a coffee station. There are no Bar fridge or microwave in any room

Rockwood earth lodge - fully self catering holiday home on a gated residential estate. Situated in Central berg, Champagne Valley, just past the Drakensberg boys choir, one finds this private and unique getaway home. 2 ½ hour drive from Durban / 4 ½ hour drive from Johannesburg on good tar roads. Main house: 4 Bedrooms (3 en-suite) sleeps 8 ( + sleeper Couch) : 3 Bedrooms, each with its own shower & toilet. 4th Bedroom with separate bath & toilet bathroom.
