Youth for Christ South Africa is part of YFC International, a Christian non-denominational, non-profit, evangelical youth movement operating in over 100 countries. At its core, YFC is a movement of people unified by a common heart for Jesus and for young people. Youth for Christ believes that every child is precious and wonderfully made by God, and deserves to live a life filled with hope and purpose, despite their socio-economic realities. Our belief enthuses us to give HOPE to children, youth and their families within schools, communities, directly on the streets, in shelters and provide training to young adults. We target poverty stricken communities and those who live on the edges of society, who feel hopeless, helpless and unlovable. Some of the issues addressed through the projects are: Poverty; Dysfunctional families; Abuse; Unemployment; Gender inequality; Street life and its addiction; and Economic strengthening and skills development and training...

In submission to the scripture, we confess the purpose of our ministry is to glorified God through reverent worship, proclaiming Christ to sinners, and building up our members through preaching the whole counsel of God and observing Christ's sacrament. To these ends, we establish the following constitution, seeking to ovoid any forms that might encourage the unbelieving fragmentations so conductive to the modern mind. Our various creeds and confessions express an important part of who we are as a church. We confess and believe together with our fathers in the faith of our brothers throughout the world. We are baptized into their company as members of the same body, the church of our Lion of Judah Ministries Church, and them we eat of a common loaf and drink from a common cup. Their creed is our creed, even as their life is our life-one Lord, and one baptism. The elders of Lion Of Judah Ministries International church therefore subscribe to these creeds and confession's holding.

YFC is an indigenous, non-profit, non-denominational, non-racial Christian youth agency. Active in all nine provinces of South Africa. Affiliated with similar organisations in over 100 nations world wide. Committed to the holistic development and empowerment of young people of all communities and cultural backgrounds. YFC Knysna uses the most effective and responsible means to serve the youth. These interventions / projects are in the following areas: school development & life skills projects; shelters for children and youth at risk; youth clubs, leadership training, job creation, music, drama, street teams, adventure outreach and camps, bible study & discipleship, counseling services / centres and community development.
