The KneeLok is a knee guard that is worn to protect the users' knees in very robust conditions, where working in the standing position is excluded due to available space, or where work must be carried out at floor level. The outer shell has been injection moulded in two pieces, using Polypropylene. This material is crack resistant and is hinged to allow free movement through 90 degrees. The inner comfort padding cushion consists of a skinned Polyurethane sponge of appropriate density to not collapse and is soft enough to provide comfort when kneeled on. The inner cushion resists the absorption of water, due to the skinned surface. Attachment straps are manufactured from a high-quality natural rubber compound, with a testile strength of 18Mpa> . It is sufficiently elastic so as not to cause discomfort to the wearer and strong enough to endure tough conditions.
