About our School: Alpha Step is a child centered Educare Centre situated in Walmer where diversity is embraced and every child enjoys learning and play in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to meet all the pre-school child's developmental needs; physical, social, emotional and cognitive. (Cognitive skills are thinking skills - mental tools that enable us to learn and operate effectively, with them we are able to learn and do most of what life demands of us. We offer an English Medium Educational programme for 2-6 year olds from Grade 0000 / Grade000 / Grade00 / Grade R (CAPS compliant curriculum) Experienced and qualified teachers. All meals and snacks provided. Computers in classes afford the children the opportunity of in class lessons. Various private extra mural activities.
