The Mattress King was established in Durban 20 Years ago. The first store was opened in Stanger in 1991, and within 1 year began the expansion trail, opening in Durban, Empangeni and various other strategically placed stores in and around Durban. Distribution of popular brands The Mattress King's main line of business is the retailing of beds. We currently have the Agency to distribute the following brands: Cloud Nine, Lylax, Rest Assured, Sealy, Serta, Sweet dreams. We also stock an extensive range of designer furniture as well as household oak furniture. We travel overseas on an annual basis to furniture trade shows, where we source the latest international furniture trends from around the world. Imported designer furniture We import furniture from countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and china, were we currently have in the region of 50 suppliers.
