The Anglican community in Southern Africa seeks to be: Anchored in the love of Christ, Committed to God's Mission, Transformed by the Holy Spirit.

To exhort the Household of Faith (Galatians 6: 10) into becoming a strong, relevant and Christlike Covenantal Community of People capable of effecting positive and lasting change within their sphere of grace & influence, families, communities, regions and nations. To ensure the expression of a Christocentric Culture at all times through our love for Him and one another; Christlike integrity, honesty, transparency and excellence in ministry; compassion, grace and mercy for all people.

Religious organisation. The organisation's main objectives are to: a) seek and accomplish the will of God by means of building the generation of understanding spiritual matters and to communicate the word of God exegetically to believers in the Lord Jesus Christ so that each may be built up in Him and become spiritually mature (Ephesians 4: 13; Colossians 1: 28; 1st Peter 2: 2) ; b) equip all believers to understand a clear declaration of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ: and to spread the Gospel beginning in South Africa and extending throughout the world (Matthew 28: 19-20; 2 Corinthians 5: 18, 20; Romans 10: 17-18) ; and c) defend the faith by standing unequivocally for the doctrines of the word of God (1 Timothy 6: 20-21), by being "ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you' (1 Peter 3: 15), and by "turning away' from all forms of false doctrine, apostasy or unbelief by any name (Romans 16: 17-18) .
