Operation hunger has a history of positive action in the fight against Malnutritionin South Africa's homes, schools and communities at large. in our 40 years of working We continue to built strong partnerships with business, communities, social development agencies, civil society to enable inclusive, innovative, measurable, tailored Community programming responses to eradicate hunger, household food insecurity and malnutrition in all its forms.

We seek out women between the age of 12 - 35 and widows of any age in most need of help, empowerment and support. We help them develop a skill that they can use to make a living and take charge of their lives for a long term stability so their children can look forward to a brighter future. We work with girls by attending to their basic needs so they can concentrate on education to shape their future. We also raise awareness about different subjects such as bully, girls sexuality, women violence and abuse, humam traficking among others. We attend to widows who are struggling to make a living by empowering then with handiworks to allow them to put food on the table for their children.

The foundation was a dream of Mr NP Thela after recognizing a need in our country and community not been met. He grew up from a very poor family having challenges without school uniforms and fees. Lacking finance at home that was huge problem. Going to bed without food but he never gave up. So he came up with Nyamatanes Foundation as a solution to the community, Nyamatanes Foundation donate food parcel to people, school uniforms, funding smallbusinessestoo. NyamatanesFoundation is improving and enriching local lives. It is through the generous hearts of these people and communities that the Foundation looks forward to many more years of philanthropy AtNyamatanesFoundation, we're at our best when we are able to bring out the best in the people around us.
