The Western Cape Cerebral Palsy Association - Cerebral Palsy is a disorder of voluntary movement and co?ordination due to the imperfect development of, or damage to certain areas of the developing brain that control the functioning of the muscles.

Established in 1966, Multiple Sclerosis South Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of individuals living with multiple sclerosis (MS) . Its mission is to ensure that people affected by MS receive recognition, improve access to treatment, support, and enhanced quality of life. The organization originated from a pressing need following the emergence of the first recorded cases of MS in the Eastern Cape, under the guidance of Dr. Geoffrey Dean. In August 1963, the society was finally registered on July 6, 1966. September 3, 1967. MSSA is actively involved in policy making and setting SA guidelines for the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
