Lerato House was established in 1998 to provide a transitional residential facility for young girls at-risk in the city centre. We seek to restore and empower young girls to take up their rightful place in society, or within their families. The programmes include: outreach services; two drop-in centres (one in the City Centre and the other in Leyds Street) ; Rebokamoso baby care centre; Lerato House shelter; Tswelelang foster home; & a second phase independent living facility. The outreach and drop-in centre serve girls and young women aged between 11 and 25 years.
