Stellenbosch Care helps individuals suffering from alcohol and drug dependency as well as other addictive behaviour. There are different types of help available. Some clients need one-on-one counselling and may be experimenting or abusing a substance where as others may be fully dependent on a substance. For clients who are dependent on substances there is an intensive out-patient program they can attend for a minimum of twelve weeks. In-patient rehabilitation for a period of 21 days for substance abuse is a prescribed minimum benefit (PMB) and is covered by most medical aids.
