MIMS is South Africa's most well known, credible medical reference publisher, with over 50 years' experience. The division publishes mainly medicines information and treatment guidelines / protocols, targeted at GPs, specialists, pharmacists and nurses. It also supplies the veterinary industry with relevant publications. Core publications consist of the monthly MIMS and the annual MIMS Desk Reference (MDR) - both of which provide the user with detailed information on most medicines available for use in South Africa. Both publications are available in print format as well as in the newly launched digital e-mims. Core products are available on an annual subscription basis. Other regular publications include Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Disease Review, Primary Care, Guide to OTC Products, Index of Veterinary Specialities (IDR) and Complementary Desk Reference.
