Koch's Cut and Supply was founded in 1979 by Frikkie Koch and Roy Meaker. In 1998 Argent purchased Koch's from the original founders. Frikkie Koch is still the company's managing director. Koch's is situated in Westmead, Pinetown, and broadly speaking is a steel service centre. It specialises in profiling of plate up to 300mm thick, plasma cutting of stainless steel and aluminium up to 50mm, rolling of plate up to 25mm over a 3 metre width, plough grinding up to 2 metres by 750 mm, cutting-to-size of sections, rolling of sections, guillotining up to 16mm thick and general fabrication and welding work.
