Unbelievable. It's impossible to get a response to any communication. The website has no email addresses for escalation. You have to complete a form to log a query/complaint or just to be contacted. No response. I sent an email to deceased estates and the auto response gives an email address for escalation should you not get a response. No response to the email and no response to the escalation. No response to the complaint left on the form. You can expect a response within 20 days. After you have waited 20 days to get not response to your complaint/escalation, you can now log an ombudsman complaint. That's what the form says. I have no words. Unbelievable. In this day and age.

I had a savings account with FNB and apparently it was freezed due to outstanding FICA documents en one day when I logged into banking app the account wasn't even appearing anymore. Then after few months I went to FNB Klerksdorp with required documents so that my account could be reactivated, then I was helped by the lady who managed to reactivate the account en I asked her about the money which was in my account which was roughly R418 at the time the account was freezed. Then the consultant filled a claim form in and I signed. Then she submitted the form and told me that the bank will refund me but till today I haven't got my money en is about 4 months now. I still want that refund.

There is one person by the name of reginah working as a so-called investigator at FIRST NATIONAL BANK fraud department. I hate that person like no one in this world and I love hating her with passion. This after I tried reporting fraud after I was scammed by their client. She behaves like she owns the bank and she thinks she knows everything. She never listens and screams on the phone like she is the only person in the world. She has no manners and she is very rude. She will treat you like you are a criminal and as if you are the one who allowed crime to happen. She has no sympathy when their customer has even robbed or stolen your money. I will never stop making this terrible comment about her because of her stinking attitude that never gets forgotten. So this is just to make you aware of what will happen to you if or should you get defrauded by their client.. This goes to show you that FIRST NATIONAL BANK has wrong, unsuitable and unqualified people in their employ. And even the bank

I have been in contact with customer complaints for the past 10 days. I am unable to view my daily interest on my MoneyMaximiser account via the FNB APP. I use to have this facility but it stopped about 14 days ago. I had one response where they admitted their wrong doing and promised to fix it..Last 10days no communication. Poor service!!!! Shame on you FNB!!!

I banked with FNB and its predecessor all my working life and am now retired. For almost two months I have been trying to resolve an issue regarding interest payable on my Credit Card account's credit balance. The amounts involved are minimal, but trying to get FNB to explain why they do not pay what they say they will pay has proved impossible, despite countless e-mails and some phone calls. In e-mails I have been addressed by my surname only, and also with an incorrect name - indicative of poor training and lack of respect for clients. The only person who did okay was the lady who handled the initial complaint (Boitumele), who realised there was a problem and escalated it. Since then it's been a dead end. Please get your staff to do what they are paid to do. Remember your logo: How can we help you?

Lakeside mall is probably the worst bank i have ever set foot in. Went with my client to transfer money to me. Met by a rude abrupt indian guy who thinks he is god and owns the place. Told to stand in a corner and wait like a child. Then here comes a lady to assist us cell phone in hand. It took a hour to do the transfer as she was to busy with her wassups and videos. A totally disrespectful person. I felt so sorry for my client as all she needed was to transfer funds but was treated with total disrespect. Sharing giggles and laughs with her indian colleage. The indian guy made me and my clients partners feel like criminals. Wow FNB definately not for me what a disrespectful bunch of people im disgusted in lakeside mall branch and FNB

Since March have sent emails and spent hundreds of Rands phoning to have a business account activated - promises of someone contacting me to finalise matters have not materialised to date. Yet the bank has the audacity to deduct fees off an account they state is not yet active????
