Negative: Not Professional, Not Responsive.

I orderd suitcases from the cape town branch to be fetched in kzn gateway cape union mart. The order did take some time so I was unavailable due to work related reasons.i had asked my nephew to fetch my order. He did so and was skeptical about the condition of the bags . He sent pics I was busy at work and did not get the message instaneously. Much to my horror the bags were second hand with huge scratches and for the price I was not happy. I went into the store and spoke to Vernon the store manager. The medium bag was swopped out and there was no large so the refund had to be done. As per the policy the card used would be credited. My nephew was not available and he will go at a later date . Khairoonisa was the perosn who would credit the amount. She insisted a credit of 15** has to be refunded in lieu of 18** rands. Now she claims it's her mistake. Must I as a customer make sacrifices to an employee who does not ensure her work is done correctly. A disgusted cape union mart cust

I visited the Fountains Mall branch in Jeffreys Bay on 31/03/21 with the intention to purchase a puffer jacket. The 'manager' confronted me about sanitizing my hands.I did not notice a sanitizing station upon entering the store. I visited several stores on this day,sanitizing on each occasion.I told this individual that I have just sanitized my hands.I am fully aware of the protocols and regulations in respect of Covid19. This person ordered me out of the store in a totally uncalled for manner. I admit that I did not respond well to his attitude but I feel his approach was agressive and he could have handled the situation in a civilized manner. I decided to do this review because my wife received the same obnoxious treatment on another occasion. We will not frequent this store again and will rather visit one of your other branches in this region.
